Bespoke Portrait Sessions in Philadelphia
Why Choose a Custom Portrait Experience?
For those who understand: this isn’t just paint on canvas. It’s artwork that only can happen with you.
A sensual, ceremonial collaboration between artist and subject—designed to honor the power of presence, and the timelessness of paint.
How the Ritual Works
1. Whisper the Vision
Begin by filling out the booking form—HERE . Your spark, your question, or your wildest muse fantasy. Whether you're clear about exactly how you would like to pose or just curious to spend time being painted by an artist, all you need is a desire to be seen.
2. The First Exchange
After your submission is reviewed and accepted, a 50% deposit is required to secure your session, covering materials and studio time. We’ll then connect for a 30-minute phone or Zoom consultation. This helps us align on energy, ideas, and the desired outcome.
3. Enter the Studio
On the day of your session, you’ll step into my Philadelphia atelier—a space scented with intention. Think velvet chairs, open windows, brushes soaking in silence, music waiting to meet us. Whether you’re alone, with a friend, a lover, or moving through something unnamed, we begin by simply being together. Light snacks, drinks, and music will be available to set the mood.
4. The Warm-Up
I sketch first to find the composition, then begin painting live in layers of color and form. We laugh. We flirt with shapes. I find your angles while you melt into presence. There’s wine if you want it. Outfits, props, costume play, or none of it. Whatever allows you to feel most like yourself—or someone new. No pressure. Just permission. The atmosphere is expressive, relaxed, and intimate—tailored to your comfort.
5. The Painting Begins
When the composition clicks, the ritual deepens. You’re no longer a sitter—you’re a mirror, a muse, a myth being born. Four hours (or more) of brushwork, layering, and improvisation guided by your body, your energy, your essence.
6. The Release
Once the piece is complete and dry, we arrange pickup or delivery. Final payment (remaining 50%) is due on release. You’ll also receive a scanned archive of sketches and a handwritten certificate of authenticity—a relic of the experience you created.
1. Commission Your Portrait
Your journey begins with an inquiry form—where you’ll share the vision, energy, or curiosity you want immortalized. Some clients arrive with a precise moodboard. Others bring only a desire to be captured in their truest form. Either way, you’re not purchasing a product. You’re commissioning a living artwork.
2. The Collector’s Consultation
Once your submission is received and aligned, we’ll schedule a private 30-minute consultation. This is where your concept is refined, desires clarified, and the initial creative direction takes shape. Upon acceptance, a 50% non-refundable deposit secures your session and covers all canvas, materials, and studio preparation. This is where we begin the ritual.
3. The Atelier Session
On your session day, you’ll arrive at my Philadelphia studio—a private, light-soaked space designed for intimacy and imagination. Champagne may be chilling. Music is curated to your taste. Whether you arrive solo, with a muse, or as a pair—this is your time to be fully seen. You may choose to pose in couture, in character, or simply as you are.
We’ll begin with conversation, light sketching, and subtle choreography. I guide the composition with gentle direction and aesthetic instinct until the visual language reveals itself.
4. The Painting in Motion
For 4+ hours, I paint you in real time—translating your presence into gesture, atmosphere, and myth. My style moves between abstraction and detail, guided by our chemistry and the mood of the day. It is a co-creation, but you are always the masterpiece.
5. Final Delivery & Collector Archive
Once the work is complete and dry, we arrange in-person delivery or insured shipping. Your final payment (50%) is due at this time. You’ll receive:
• Your original portrait, varnished and ready for framing
• A signed certificate of authenticity
• A collector’s folio of sketches, studies, and studio notes from your sitting
Each piece is documented in my private archive, and your portrait will never be reproduced or offered as a print. This is a one-of-one, made only once, for you.
