I believe that paintings are not just decorative objects, but evidence of a way of being. Using storytelling, expressive mark, and personal mythology, they create a colorful lineage to be shared with others & passed on to empower the next generation of embodied women.

How it works:

We’ll start by talking about your vision for the piece. This includes potential images, size, colors, mood, and any inspiration you want to share. You can send photos, tell me stories, or describe a feeling you would like the work to capture.

*****If you would like to be the subject of the painting and have me photograph you…. You must request THE EMBODIED MYTH portrait session first…. You will be able to leverage 50 % of your session price towards a painting commission from the narrative we shoot/ the photos taken will be used as reference for the final piece.

Quote and Agreement

Once I understand your vision, I will provide a price quote and estimated timeline. If you are happy to move forward, I will send a simple agreement that outlines the details.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 50% secures your spot on my schedule and covers materials and planning.

Creation Phase

I will begin creating your piece in my studio and will send you progress updates at key stages. The painting will usually The process typically takes anywhere between 4-6 weeks.  I will send an update as I progress with time to amend or change (1x) before completion of the works. This is your chance to give feedback before I add the final touches.

Final Approval and Payment

When the work is complete, I will send you final photos for approval. The remaining balance is due before I ship or deliver the artwork. All pieces will be shipped rolled with the responsibility of the patron to stretch or frame the final piece. If you would like the piece shipped framed/ stretched you will be sent an invoice for the full balance of the shipment in addition to your final payment.

Delivery

Your piece will be signed, packaged with care and shipped, or hand-delivered if you are local, so it arrives ready to display. Each piece will come with a Certificate of Authenticity + a book of drawings, images, and source material from the project…. I call these Atlas’. You can see an example here.
