All of life is a creative act

began as a home for my own practice of being an artist. Over time, I began to see that the way I live and create — led by intuition, stripped of pretense, and rooted in my own truth — was a practice I had fought hard to protect.

I learned to listen to it like a second heartbeat.

I believe we all have a source of this internal wisdom and unshakable uniqueness. The Artist Type was created for the women who feel the pulse of something more — who know their creativity isn’t a hobby, an afterthought, or even just a job, but the lifeblood of their existence.

My work has always been about more than making paintings. I am fascinated by the performance of what it means to be an artist — both the history of being a woman neglected from a male-dominated craft and the trope of being the nude model, the muse, the body looked at but not heard.

I claim both roles.

I paint, and I let myself be seen.

I am the hand that shapes and the presence that inspires, sometimes in the same breath.

It’s about how we choose to move through the world, the rituals we keep, the boundaries we draw, the personas we slip into, the myths we write about ourselves in real time.

This is about defining your own way of being.

Refusing the inherited script.

Making art not just in your chosen medium, but in your conversations, your style, your relationships, your choices. <3

It’s about living in such a way that every breath, every gesture, every decision is a declaration: I am my own creative lineage.

What We Believe

  1. Creativity Is Identity
Art is not something you do — it’s who you are. Your life is the medium. Every choice, gesture, and ritual is an expression of your vision.

  2. All of Life Is Art
From the way you dress yourself in the morning to the way you end a conversation, every moment can be composed, colored, and shaped with intention.

  3. You Are Both the Artist and the Muse
You can hold the brush and be the inspiration. You can direct the vision and stand unapologetically in the frame. To embody both is to reclaim your full creative power.

  4. Ritual Is the Path to Mastery
Inspiration is fleeting. Devotion is what transforms scattered bursts into a living body of work. Show up, again and again, for your craft and for yourself.

  5. Self-Trust Is Sovereignty
You are your own compass. When you trust your instincts, you no longer seek permission to create, to speak, or to be seen.

Here, we don’t wait to feel ready.
We create from who we already are.
And we return to that… again and again.

The Artist Type Is For You If…

  • You’ve been told you’re “too much” or “not enough” and are done letting that define you.

  • You feel the pull to live in full creative expression, without apology or permission.

  • You are ready to treat your creativity as a relationship — one that deserves time, care, and reverence.
